Then he turned around, fists up, ready to go another round with Lit.

The sounds of bones cracking followed and Cage was fully punching Lit’s arms over and over, as Lit blocked him.

  God can’t someone stop this!

Then just as I thought this Lit ended the fight, tapping out after Cage went UFC on him.

I didn’t know what to think, or say. So I walked from the scene, and the cheering was loud. People were calling for a round two.

Walking back into the club, I went to the bar. Taking a stool next to Wild. Nodding my head at the prospect. Everyone else was enjoying themselves. I might as well try.

The crowd from the fight, slowly filtered into the club. Wild and I were having a conversation about his daughters, when the stool next to me was pulled out.

“Hi Dad.” I grinned at Hawk. Only to receive a stern look. “Okay what did I do?” I frowned. I hadn’t done anything, had I?

“You the reason those boys are fighting?”

I swallowed sharply. “Not that I know of.”

He scoffed. “Acorn, these aren’t teenage boys. They are men. Who obsessed over their property. You can’t get mixed up in it. Especially not with him.”

“I’m not with Lit,” I said quickly.

He gave me a knowing expression. “I know that’s my problem. Lit I can control. Cage however.” He snuck a glance over his shoulder. “Is a wild card.”

“Well, I’m not with him either.”

“Yeah and let’s keep it that way.” He grabbed a beer and gestured with his head at Wild to join him. “Club business Acorn. Sorry to steal ya drinking partner.”

“It’s okay,” I said and forced a smile. While turning back on my stool two hands on my hips made me gasp.

“You ready to pick up where we left off?” He whispered in my ear.

  Cage.

I bit my bottom lip. Do I do it? “Meet you in your room in five,” I said gripping my beer. I caught the smirk on his face from the corner of my eyes.

  Chapter Twenty Six

  Autumn

I knocked on his door. Sneaking a glance up the hallway, just in case Dad walked up it. When the door didn’t immediately open I took a step back, ready to do the whole ‘go to my door’ if anyone comes up the passage.

Then as I took another step away the door opened.

Oh. My. God. He will be the death of me.

My teeth sunk into my bottom lip as I took in the man that was Cage Hurley. His sharp, worked on muscular body. My eyes flickered over his tattoos, the detailed snake on his side, that went under his armpit. Then there was the most perfect chest tattoo that had me clenching my legs together.

He was just casually leaning his body against the doorframe.

Finally as I drank in the fact he was covered in sweat from fighting I was sure there was blood mixed in that sweat. His knuckles bleeding. Cut up.

Finally I looked him in the eye. Biting my bottom lip, as I saw his jet black steel stare on me.

His hand went out for my waist, and he pulled me inside. I felt like an insect being pulled into a spider’s web. Because I knew with one taste of him, I was going to become addicted.

I licked my lips, wondering where to start. She was like a Christmas present that I got to unwrap early. Fuck I never got presents as a kid. But she was making up for every single one I had missed.

In fact, if I knew that one night with Autumn Watson was on my list of God gifts I would have gone without presents willingly, just to get her.

She was the type of girl you dream over. Her body, was the type that would be pinned on my wall when I was boy. Fuck it. I had just ripped posters down from my dorm room of the half naked girls posing with the bikes, because she just out did them.

My hand ran over the curve of her side. As her hands went to my neck she knew where this was leading too, and she was still here— willingly? Was she mental? Did she know I wouldn’t be good for her? That I’d destroy every good bit about her because I had destroyed every good quality of mine.

Then before I let the better part of me talk me out of it, I grapped her by the ass and lifted her up. To think I nearly had her all those years ago.

“Can I ask you something Autumn?” I asked as I kissed her neck. “I need you to know something about me.”

She shivered just slightly, and then her eyes opened up. Staring into those vivid emerald eyes of hers I thought, ’Could I really explore all of her, my way, the way I liked, or should I do the right thing?’

Then it hit me. Like a fucking slap to the face. Though I wished, she had been the one to slap me. She wouldn’t have been with anyone since it happened. And here I was about to tie her.

  Fucking dick move Hurley.

“What’s wrong?” her words were soft, and she leaned in, placing her forehead on mine.

  “Nothing.”

“Don’t lie to me,” she said sternly. “You were going to say something, but you stopped because…” she sighed. “I’m okay, do you need me to reassure you of that?”

“I just don’t want to cause you to have any flashbacks.”

“If it makes you feel better I don’t remember a thing.”

“That doesn’t make me feel better.” Makes me want to go back in time, and make that bastard suffer for longer.

“I can barely recall either of their faces.”

The bastard got off fucking easy. I should have…Wait. “Their faces?” I said.

“Didn’t you know there was two? How else did you think someone filmed it?” She was talking fucking reason. How the hell did I miss this!

“I thought he set it up. I didn’t watch the video.” I put her down.

“Cage. Please. Don’t let it ruin the mood,” she said basically groaning. “Come back here.”

I was pacing. “You remember what the other guy looked like?”

She shrugged. “Why does it matter?”

“Because that cunt hurt you and he is still breathing.”

“Don’t say that word.” She scowled me.

“Does anyone else know there were two men?” Had Hawk just not told me because he hadn’t wanted me to go on a murdering spree?

“You know what Cage. I’m starting to see a pattern.” She placed her hands on her hips. “You working me up and then getting distracted.” Her hand went to her dress strap and she brushed it off, then the other side. Pushing the dress down and stepping out of it. Her breasts free, and just lace underwear on.

My eyes reminded me it was fucking Christmas again. I licked my lips.

“Do I have to beg you?” She blew out.

I was in two fucking minds. One. Go murder a bastard that touched her and filmed her. Two. Fuck her. Hard.

Again it was like a war against good and evil. Then her hands slipped into the waistband of my shorts.

“Do you want to know something Cage?” She went up on her toes and whispered in my ear.

  “I swallow.”

I groaned. Not what I needed to hear right now as I fought with what I should do over what I needed and wanted. But then I wanted to make the man that touched her suffer just as much as I wanted to fuck her…. The need however, the need to explore her, the need to fuck her till she calls my name… well that had me looping my thumbs in her underwear and pushing them down.

Nipping at her inner thigh, as I dragged them down her.

Then as I stood back up, she went down, her hands going to the waistband of my shorts and pushing them down.

My hands went to her hair, as she took me in her mouth. It took everything in me not to go against my need to control her.

Her and that tongue, and the pressure of her hand. I couldn’t take anymore. As I was about to pull her off she stopped, looking up at me from on her knees.

“I have one rule.” She said, and she reached for something on the floor.

“You don’t speak about anything you do to me, or we do together. You don’t tell your club brothers.” She stood
up. “You don’t tell anyone what I’m like in the bedroom. What happens between you and I, stays between us?” She waited for me to say yes.

“Darling, I’m not that type of man that needs to parade his sex life in front of others. Let alone club brothers.” She placed something in my hands.

“Then we won’t have any problems.”

I looked down at my hands, seeing the belt. My eyes snapped back to her. How did she know that I needed control? How could she fucking know that?

A small smirk appeared on her face, her finger running down my jaw.

  “You ready to play Cage?”

With one arm wrapped around her, I lift her up laying her on the bed, kissing down every inch of her body.

“Do you have cuffs?” She murmured as I kissed up her body.

I looked up at her, “Does it bother you if I do?”

  She shook her head.

“You sure Autumn after what you went through…?” Her eyes silenced me.

“Left-hand side bedside table, in the drawer. They are new in a brand new box.” I told her, as she moved over the bed, opening the drawer. I couldn't stop myself from slapping her naked ass causing her to scowl at me when she sat back up, only with the box this time.

“Do you buy new cuffs for each woman?” She asked, way too casually.

I kept my eyes on her, waiting to see her reaction.

“No. I bought those but I haven’t found a woman I wanted to use them on , till tonight.”

She got the leather cuffs out of the box and looked at them before handing them to me.

“You’ll know how to use them better than I will. Plus they will be nicer than being tied up with a belt.”

She was right. I did know how to use them better then her.

“You sure?” I said before I placed it around her wrist. Then she nodded her head. And I slowly began to wrap the cuff around her hand, waiting for her to freak out.

  But she didn’t.

With both hands cuffed, she laid down on the bed, putting her arms up.

“Darling, if you want me to stop, just say stop.”

“Stop comes out to easily. We need another word. What word do you usually use?” She again, said it too casually.

“You sure you are okay with this?” I asked before I clicked the cuffs locked around the headboard.

“It’s all about trust,” she said locking her eyes with mine. “And I trust you.”

I kissed her lips. I knew then I didn’t just trust her. I think I was falling in love with her. Was that even possible?

Lighting up a cigarette, whoever started the whole church on a Sunday thing should be fucking punished. Don’t know why bikers adapted the law to apply to our weekly meeting.

Because we were always, always hungover as fuck and usually wanted to solve everything with our fists.

I looked at the men, all looking to be in foul moods. Coming down from the liquor and drugs. While me. I was fucking grinning.

Waking up with her in my arms, taking her as deep as I wanted last night, all rushed through my mind. Nothing was going to give me the same high, as listening to Autumn come saying my name.

Fingers clicking in my face brought me back to the moment.

“Ya heads not in the meeting brother.” Vod said, and nodded his head at Jacob, who was speaking to me— apparently.

  “What?” I said, sitting up.

Jacob gave me an odd look. “What has you in a good mood?”

  Your little sister.

“Nothing.” I replied coolly. “Now what’s wrong?”

“Got the southern Chapter running by in a few days, need you to step up as enforcer. Or at least that was what Prez was saying.” Jacob repeated what apparently Hawk had been telling me.

I glanced at Hawk, to see him glaring at me.

“Only two reasons you’d be in a good mood. One you fucked someone up. Or two you fucked someone.” Hawk’s words were direct.

“Well, I did fuck someone up Prez.” I grinned and leaned forward. “Lit in fact. I fucked him up good.”

There were a few chuckles at the table. And Hawk accepted that as my reason for being in a good mood. And closed the meeting.

I was out and heading back to my room. Autumn was asleep when I left. Fuck I hope she didn’t think I did a fuck and run on her.

“Yo sis, what’s on the menu for breakfast?” Jacob called out across the room, and I paused mid stride back to my room, seeing Autumn about to walk into the kitchen.

“Just about to turn the stove on and get that hangover food ready.” She smiled, and I redirected my steps towards her. My concern went up, when she didn’t look in my direction.

She was bending over when I walked in. The door closing between me.

“Morning.” I said approaching her, and then placing my hands on her hips, she slowly straightened up, turning to face me.

“Morning.” She said with a smile, and I couldn’t tell if it was forced or not.

I took her hand, and my eyes dropped, and then widened.

“What the fuck Autumn? You said they weren’t tight!” I looked down at the slight mark on her wrist. You wouldn’t know it was from the cuffs. But I fucking knew.

“I was pulling on them. It’s to be expected,” she said and frowned. “Stop freaking out over nothing.”

I didn’t want to give her any reason, any at all to hate me. Or regret last night. Because it was the highlight of my life. Cause I doubted I’d get another night with her.

“I’ve got to cook breakfast.” She brushed my hand off her wrist, and her hip.

  “What’s wrong?”

  “Nothing.”

  “Something is wrong.”

  “Nothing is.”

I spun her around. “You know we have to talk about it right? I let it go last night, but I can’t just..”

“Stop!” She snapped at me. “If you had a problem with it, you should have said something last night.”

“I didn’t think while I was fucking you was a good time to bring up the self harming on your outer thigh.” I couldn’t stop the glare in my eyes. “Come on Autumn, you can’t brush it off. I saw it.”

“And you didn’t say anything!” She snapped at me. “So don’t okay.” She shoved me away from her. “Don’t care. Don’t stand there with some moral fucked up compass and pretend like you need to care that I self harm!”

  “I do care.”

She scoffed. “Cage. We had a night together. One night. If you want to repeat it. You’ll drop this subject.”

She went to storm off, then I gripped her wrist, pulling her into me. My mouth going to her ear. “I fucking care Autumn and if you think I’ll drop it? Well, darling, you don't know what type of man I really am”

And perhaps, that was her downfall. Because she had no idea the type of monster that was becoming obsessed with her.

  Chapter Twenty Eight

  Autumn

There are moments in life, where you have to weigh what you are doing- to what you should be doing. I knew that no matter the way I looked at it, Cage was stirring feelings in me that should scare me. But instead of fear capturing my body when I looked at him, it was desire.

Desire was my downfall. The desire to have his lips on my body. The desire to feel his fingers running over my skin.

I struggled to say it was feelings, because I had never felt so cold. The ice creeping through my body, was numbing me from making the right decisions. Numbing me because of the lessons I have learned.

The tattooist’s where at the club. Between the three of them they were doing pieces on the boys and right now the woman with dreadlocks was tattooing Cage’s neck. My eyes went off my glass, and on to him. There he was sitting— the tattooist working away on his neck, a cigarette in his mouth and his eyes met mine.

We hadn’t spoken since the kitchen moment. I had thrown myself into useless tasks. I knew I was doing wrong by him, by blowing him off.
I also knew he wasn’t going to drop the subject.

Staring into his jet black eyes, I was pulled back to the night we were together and I got a taste of perfection. Now, I wasn’t sure when or if we would get that again. Because of what he saw.

  “Acorn?”

I tore my eyes off Cage and onto Hawk. “Yeah Dad.” I said, placing the glass on the table.

  “Jacob’s on a bender.”

“Oh.” I sighed and reached for the pick up car keys that I had been driving all week. “Guessing you want me to check the usual places?”

“Nah.” Hawk shook his head. “I’ve got a few of the blokes on it.”

“Okay,” I said but frowned. “Then how can I help?”

“I don’t know how to bring this up.” Hawk muttered, and his eyes dropped. I noticed Cage shift uncomfortably in his chair. He was listening to this conversation. And he wasn’t moving in the chair uncomfortably because he was getting a tattoo. No. He knew what Hawk was about to bring up.

“Hawk. What’s this about?” I snapped at him. I hated secrets and lies.

He looked up, knowing I was getting pissed off by calling him Hawk instead of dad. “When you were attacked, the police found these papers. They have just handed them over.” He pulled them out of his back pocket and handed them to me. “It’s the gym sale.”

“That’s good. I thought we had lost our money and the rights of the sale,” I said, seeing shock appear on his face. “What do you need me to do?”

“I don’t expect you to go there ever again.”

“I’ve missed my workouts. I’m happy to keep up my end of the deal.” I stood up. “I’m happy to run the place, as we planned.”

“Is there something you want to tell me?” Hawk said that question, as if I was keeping something from him.

  I frowned. “No.”

He arched his eyebrows. “Come with me.” He said after looking around at the few members who were listening.

“No. We don’t need to take this privately. I’m not keeping anything from you.”
